Holt Architecture had the honor of partnering with the Fontana Police Department to develop a versatile Emergency Operations Center, transforming an exterior courtyard and an existing conference room into a dynamic, multi-purpose facility. This project was designed to meet the department's need for a centralized hub capable of coordinating emergency responses and community safety initiatives. By reimagining these spaces, we created an environment that supports critical operations while fostering collaboration and efficiency, ensuring the Fontana PD is well-equipped to handle emergencies and serve the community effectively.

 

In addition to the Emergency Operations Center, the lobby underwent a significant modernization and reconfiguration to enhance both functionality and security. The redesign included securing the walls and staff counter with ballistic protection, providing a safer day-to-day work environment for employees. These changes not only prioritize staff safety but also create a more welcoming and accessible experience for the public, balancing security needs with a friendlier atmosphere. This thoughtful renovation reflects our commitment to supporting the Fontana PD's mission through innovative and practical design solutions.
